In level 1-2 of Overcooked! 2, your chefs will be serving up sushi. This is the first level with sushi.
Recipes[]
This level has three ingredients: fish, rice, and nori. The only recipe for this level is sushi.
Sushi: Cook rice in the pot. Chop up a fish. Place cooked rice, nori, and chopped fish on a plate and serve.
Kitchen[]
There are three ingredient boxes in the middle of the kitchen. You are provided four plates for the level; two plates are on the top middle counter and two more plates are on the bottom counter. Three chopping stations are located at the top left of the kitchen. The serving window and plate return are on the top right of the kitchen. The stove is located on the bottom right and the trash is in the bottom middle.
Strategies[]
Because this is the first time making sushi, the timer on this level doesn't start until you serve the first dish. This means that many players will make a completed dish on each plate, chop all the fish that they need in the corner, and cook 3 more pots of rice. Once they are ready, they serve the plates and complete the rest of the level with the following roles:
2 Players:
- Rice cooker: Cooks rice and puts it on the current plate.
- Plater/Server: Put fish and nori on the plate, then serve once rice cooker puts rice on it. You can put the current place on the fish box to make it more accessible to the rice cooker.
3 Players:
- Rice cooker: Cooks rice, leaves it on the stove when it's done.
- Fish and Nori: Puts fish and nori on the current plate
- Server: Takes the place with fish and nori over to the rice pots, plates it, and serves
4 Players:
- Rice cooker: Cooks rice, leaves it on the stove when it's done.
- Fish: Puts fish on the current plate.
- Nori: Puts nori on the current plate.
- Server: Takes plate to the rice pot, plates the rice, and serves.
